I was in the service and stationed in Santa Ana CA 1978-1981. I bought this 59B in 1978 or 1979. I have had some forum members look at pics and talked to a csr at Seymour Duncan and all agreed because of the red ink and lack of roll mark it was made in that time frame. Obviously I am pretty old now and no longer play in a band and have sold a lot of stuff recently. I have used this pickup in at least 10 guitars over the years, mostly Les Pauls and an early EVH clone I made around 1985.
