that's because you're over thinking it. Over thinking leads to two things: Overplaying, and lack of consideration for the song.

don't think so hard about music, and it's quite simple. I'm sure StrangeSound will attest to the fact that he didn't do a lot of 'thinking' while playing this, he just played it

Yes, but he's a good player. For me it is quite the opposite. I have to work hard to make remotely ok music.
