    It's All About The Music

    This thread is meant to get back to music. I wanted to remind everyone of what an awsome singer Hoss is.

    Plush ***Edit....forgot to update the site with the vocal version...that would help!

    To remind everyone how talented David from Mo is on vocals....

    And finally, to remind everyone why I should NEVER be allowed to sing....

    Heavens Door

    All guitar parts were done by me. Drums and bass were from backing track's I found on the internet, or from Guitar Pro.

      On all of those clips I used amp models from my Boss GT-6...straight into my stock sound card..Acid Pro 4.0 for recording. It's been a while, but I think I used the following guitars and amp models:

      Heavens Door - Double Fat Strat, CC for distorted rythym, APH(n) for cleans and leads. Twin Reverb model for clean and Soldano model for rythym and leads.

      Plush - Hardtail with JB. Marshall 1959SLP for distortion with a little chorus and one other effect I can't recall to get that slightly funky tone.

      Interstate Love Song - Same as Plush...just less distortion and effects.

      The GT-6 is pretty amazing, it's made recording fairly easy for a retard like me. I can control the level of pre-amp gain for each model...I didn't use any distortion effects. The only effect I can recall adding after recording is a little track compression to smooth out some parts.

        i'd do it again in a hearbeat...for you or anyone else in here...i love to sing and make music...and to do it this way is pretty cool...the ability to do something together with someone from anywhere in the world...awesome!!!

                I just had to listen to "Heaven's Door", and now I really do think you caused the forum to crash.

                haha ... j/k, Jeff .... it wasn't as bad as you made it sound ... I hear a lot worse stuff on the radio.
