    Do you guys have any tips on...
    Playing the tapping interlude in Symphony X's Sea of Lies? I don't know why, but I'm having a little trouble playing the interlude....

    you should have good legato technique to play this part. there is no picking in it.
    what you are supposed to do is tap the first note with your right hand, play the rest with your left, and then jump to the g-string and do the same thing in a different pattern.
    if you want i could record it for you slow or something if that can help out.

    the things to remember are that you have to sound fluent(!) you are playing an arpeggio so if it doesnt sound fluent it will sound like crap. and you should make sure that all the notes ring well and sound at the same volume.

      dude thanks for the advice and yes, please record it, I've seen you shred and your awesome, I just started 10 months ago, oh and hey, I also now live in Israel, where do you live?

          Lol, I live in Ra'anana, I see theres some legato in this solo, I barely worked on Legato, so I'm having a hard time playing this, any tips? And yes if you can please post a clip sometime soon.
