The song is funny actually ,the drum sound is not fitting but you know that already! The basdrum is too boxy for that kind of sound. The snare might have more sustain. It's just too short to have any nice impact! You need a nice steady basssound.
I like the guitar tone ,and I think it's hard and full enough .You guys have cool ideas and funny names LOL!

thanks for the compliments about the drums, that's pretty much what i figured i actually did the drums on my buddy's cheap-o keyboard straight into a line 6 toneport. in fact, everything was straight into the toneport, but the bass/guitars were done with clean tones with drive pedals.

Wow man, I really like the idea, and the guitar tone is mean!

        Good work

The compression is a little much across the board, but it sounds good, the song has a cool idea.

Looking forward to more from you

thanks if i do re-do it, i'll take off some of the compression then
the tone if a mix of my ds-1 into my mxr classic with both set for dimed level and minimum gain, into the 800 setting on the toneport. right channel is my gibson and left channel is my dot studio.

btw i know the song is pretty simple, but i've only got 4-track recording software which definitely limits how much stuff i can do!

cool ideas dude! keep working on a song. that last one needs some vocals and is there some sort of tremolo/vibrato effect on the guitar distortion? Id take that effect off...put some vocals on there...

Re: wooh! first time posting a clip!

i'm working on getting some stuff together on that one, possibly vocals(if i can get some lyrics together!) but i know what you're talking about with the tremolo/vibrato thing happening with the guitars. what it was is that i was playing two of the same rhythm parts and the timing wasn't spot on. i'm probably going to end up re-recording everything on that track anyways though!

Very fun stuff to listen to! You don't seem to be putting too many boundaries around your music, and that's cool. I was honestly not expecting much, as you strike me as a bit of a ska fan, and.. I'm definitely not. But I liked this. Keep up the good work.

thanks honestly, i can't get a full enough clean tone(that i like anyways) for ska stuff through the tone port, so i don't really want to record any ska stuff. click ska rhythms sounds great through my tube amp though! about all the different styles there, i can't take all the credit. literally about half of the stuff was written by my buddy who comes to my house all the time. cool dude, his writing/music contrasts with my style very much.

the guitar tone is nice and snarly. there's some weird out of phase thing happening in your mix though, it really distracts from the drums and stuff. are the drums live drums? something sounds muted about them

sounds like a strong idea to expand on and tighten up

the rhythm parts that sound all funky are real wierd because i had two thick tones and played the same rhythm but out of time, so it created this wierd panning/tremolo effect. the drums are by no means live, just a keyboard, though my buddy(the other guy on the profile) and i did just get a dixon drum kit

sounds like a strong idea to expand on and tighten up
thank you. i'm already arranging a part in my head after the breakdown to have a solo over
