Well thing is, I havent written a full score in about a month so I set off with the idea that I'd create a slow piece for strings.

Couple of bars in I got bored, so I added drums and it went from there

thats your typical power metal instrumental. thunderstone, avantasia.. such things come to mind.. with a bit of trash thrown in at the end.. wouldnt call it black metal

well it was suppsed to turn out black metal but it doesnt sound heavy at all.


The riffs on their own sound it, but for some reason with the drums it sounds mellower

I like it. You're right, the drums do mellow it out, but if you got a real drum kit to play that, it would sound more heavy, I think. Love the riffs.
