As most of you know, Frank Lee is currently working on a rock opera/concept album based on Anglo-Saxon culture, history, language, prose, and poetry. While Frank Lee has a good working knowledge of Old English, finding people fluent in Breton, Old Norse, Danish, and Frisian has proved difficult; this has caused Frank Lee to scrap the planned "throw down" rap sections of the album. While Frank Lee soldiers on, He is profoundly disappointed that His suite of songs based on the sacking of Lindisfarne will not include a section of Old Norse vs. Old English freestyling, nor will He be able to create a King Arthur character with a girly-man voice. Oh well.
While other songs are done and ready to be mixed, Frank Lee has completed a rough sketch of a snippet of what will eventually be a song about the more, shall He say, base elements of Anglo-Saxon culture. If anyone here knows a singer who can sing like that dude in Savatage, let Him know.
Thank you.
