dont know about lyrics. sorry. do this: instead of sitting with the song and writting to it, write a sort of poem, completely independent, then make it fit to the music. this is what i do when listening to the song wont work for me.

PS- are those real drums? if not, what did you use?

Many thanks! This means alot to me! I use ezdrummer, but with the DFH drum patterns. My drummer thought I was playing the drums or a drumpad or something, but once you start using em, you recognize fake drums immediately unless your listening to electronica or meshuggah where things are supposed to be mechanical precision soundingz...

I thought of The Tubes. Add a Chapman Stick bass line and it could whiff of King Crimson..

Thanks brutha! This means alot I usually do only 3 takes when I do vocals, so Ill spend more time on this one when I get around to it, and just keep the instrumental up as well...glad I have alot of gigs to get ready for, my band plays teh 3 hour sets so I gotta git r done
