  • First Tim test at home

Well ran it at 12v, boost engaged, gain on the boost pulled out, Navigator strat with Van Zandt Blues singles, Hardwire delay, old Washburn comp(read old Maxon comp, MXR style one)
Used a CM mic, located close the edge of the speaker on the Vox AC-15 C1.

Thanks to Mats for the backer..

On no, pretty soon you'll be starting threads on which 1,000,000th revision of the Eternity roxxxx the most and what Dumble trounces the others.

Tone is smooth. wonder how much is the pedal though and how much is the mic/speaker/amp/placement/player/beer/chickenwings/chupacabra?

Haha not gonna happend, truth be told, my old SD-1 sounds just as good....I'm never going to be big on Hypeteek stuff, and the true bypass actually bugs me....
And the amp is a lowly Chinese amp with a Greenback.... Nothing fancy there.
Well Joelap the mic is very neutral, or natural, so it is very close to the actual sound you hear...and it is not even loud.

Do you like that HW Delay man? I'm still waiting for mine (...) but I'm planning on using it as a looper...

Cool man, both the amp and pedal sound good.

Re: First Tim test at home

Thanks.....well the DL-8 is my fave delay in many ways, had sold all the rest I had sometime ago...except for a Giga-delay and one old DD-5...cannot get myself to sell either
                  Like what they do!
This amp suits my needs well here at home, and I guess if I ever was conned into doing a small gig it would work there as well...hehe

Lucky for you that you live way over there or I would pay you to gig in a band with me.
