interesting. i use the big bottom from time to time, but ive never managed to get something i like out of their JCM800 model. it just always sounds...off. i dunno. perhaps ill have another whack at it.

for jamming and not recording I use the default presets that have two amps you play at once. jcm800 sounds good paired up with big bottom to my ears.

Ive recorded over a 100 songs over the last two years; my chains get more tweaked and complex, I use help from forum members and subtractive eq advice from innerdreamrecords.co - his recordings are really awesome. your recordings are cool, keep wacking away at it!!

awesomeness! thanks brutha, new SG - Im having fun with it, its different then my other sg with the 81/85EMGs. I have listened to the first 5 sabbath albums a ton over the years, so definitely that influences my rock. maybe classic downtuned rock? I dont do anything illegal so I dont like to call it "stoner rock" or "stoner metal" or "stoner doom" ...not sure if people know about those categories either? heh ledzep/sabb is straight rock and roll to my ears
