        The Custom in a Les Paul (or it's copies) is definitely a great chunky sound with some low end "growl" and is my fave pickup in the bridge for that guitar, SGs, Explorers, V's , etc. Cleans up pretty nice too when you roll the volume down on the guitar.

            Thats the sound of the Custom I was talking about: very tight chunky low end.

            Sounds great with a just a teeny bit of crunch, or full out distortion like your setup.

            Very nice.
