  • What Audio Interface for Mac?

Hey all, I'm wondering on which interface you'd suggest for recording guitar only into a Mac book.

I'd probably use the Garage Band just for clips and some song ideas and not really looking to do full band recordings or anything like that.

Would have to have either USB or Firewire interface.

    thanks

I'd just get one of these http://www.bluemic.com/snowball/
it's decent quality, and cheap (as far as mics go).

I'm looking to purchase one in the near future. I'm a bit pissed that they stopped putting audio-in jacks on the white macbooks. I didn't even consider that when I got this thing a few weeks ago lol

I went with the snowball because it is a good price and will let me use my rig which is important to the tones I want to get.

Now I can start posting and stuff.

        Thanks

I've had some great results with the Apogee stuff. The One and the Duet both sound nice, and work well with GB.

+1. I'm running the same thing and it has worked great.
