Nice, a lot better than most 'djent' tunes out there. Actually listened to it quite a few times now.

Has that annoying, really 'artificial' production style I've come to really hate about the genre though, particularly with the guitar sound

Hm...I have to say that I agree. It sounds great, IMHO, but there´s still a lack of surprising and odd guitar licks. However, a very good singer from Seattle has made a song line, and my son is making an outro solo in the end of the tune. This will make the final tune more exciting (he will then use his Suhr Modern 7 with the Dough Aldrich pickups).

Yikes; what happened? Suddenly he got 1025 plays! Look:

Here is a tune of mine called Edelstein featuring the one and only mr. Tony Pimental (ex. Steve Vai) on bass guitar. Mixed, mastered and co-produced by Bali Harko.

Sounds pretty cool like this stuff better then death metal because most death metal I can't stand the vocals (a lot of growling doesn't add to the music IMHO some can pull it off but most just hurt my ears). I do however like In Flames and other melodic metal bands because of the NWOBHM influences. This stuff is quite dynamic for modern metal (from what I have heard I am not that into modern metal so I could be totally wrong) but I like it.
