  • Zakk inspired riffing

so.. listening to some black label society, i was fooling around on guitar and came up with a 'double drop' tuning (CGDGBe) hehe and recorded a riff.

just for kicks, nothing serious. the sound clips quite a lot due to the low frequencies hehe.

WFD, i think you might like this one
    very wylde

    *edit*
i went a tiny itsy bitsy bit over the top at the end

Well, I actually find your riff really cool Davey... even if the drop tuning is not my thing. The main part of the riff is catchy. I would certainly try to elaborate on it.

I think there's not many people around here these days...

it's been kind of dead around these parts as of late indeed.

        thanks sly =)
the low tunings really arent what i'm after, but i got some BLS and was trying to play along, so i had to drop. it's actualy a lot of fun hehe, so i got this stuck in my head so i recorded it

next thing i'm kind of trying to do is the song Demise of sanity as a backing track for the peeps here.. if i can only get the drums right =P

Hey thanks Rocker 71! Appreciate it. I almost forgot about that... I was so busy in November I barely had time to take the guitar... this will change, I bought a new axe and Hloidays are coming. I'll post again soon for sure!
