In the downtime before we go into the studio to track the album and start playing gigs I've been upgrading my studio equipment a bit and working on some of my earliest mixes.

This is an old song that was given new life with some creative dynamics control and a couple of new plugins ...

Is there always some sort of subtle octave effect on your guitars? They always have such a unique sound. I've always forgotten to ask.

haha, I actually posted this in the wrong thread. But it works here as well.

I meant to post it in one of Everdrone's thread, as he also has an octavey sound going on with the rhythms that I always really like. Different from yours, but out of pure luck my question was appropriate here as well.
