  • Purple Rain Jam with a friend

    Hi guys.

My friend and I finished recording this jam over a Purple Rain backing.
His guitar is a bit louder but that was my mistake, sry for this.
My part goes till 3:16 and then my friend takes over.
Both Ibanez guitars, his tone kicks ass imho.

    Hope you´ll enjoy it

THAT WAS COOL...my band always performs "purple rain"...it's a cool slow song and the ending allows you to solo a little...

First, thank you very much for listening.

I am listening to your version of purple rain right now. I love the voice, the whole band rocks. Good stuff

Very nice stuff. I'd love to find out what you are playing through, both of you. Is that a backing track?

              Sweet!

BTW, thought I'd mention, Prince was the reason I picked up a guitar, believe it or not!

I don´t have the backing. Ask Slash_Gilbert (pm him I guess). Perhaps he can upload it and we can make a Purple Rain Thread. Everybody put his version here online. That´ll be cool because it will always sound different. What ya think?

                  Thanks

Oh man, Prince can play very well, though. I love his tone on "cinnamon girl" on the new record.
