Just got a harmonica to play with my guitar, I'm lost need help haha

So I go into Samash and say "I need a harmonica" hey says "what key?" from there on I'm lost haha.

So I got it in the key of D because it is also the Key of A thinking all I want to do is play all along the watchtower which is in A minor than I get home and see I need one in C diatonic or E???? I'm lost should I return it or does anyone know any songs that use a key of D harmonica? I just don't get if a song is in one key why would a harmonica be in a other for the same song. Any tips for this lost kid hahaThanks

much of the time you play cross harp which is why you need a different key harp than the one the song is in and the minor thing makes it more complicated. find some who knows how to play harp and ask them lol
