  • Joanne Shaw Taylor... best blues tones I've heard

You may have known about this incredible blues player for a while, but I just discovered her last weekend.

Her recorded tone on the songs "Watch 'em Burn" and "Going Home" are the best I've heard since Stevie Ray died. On top of the great tone, the girl can play, and she has a great voice to boot.

I've been listening to her stuff off iTunes every hour I've been awake for 4 days now, and I'm loving it.

If you love blues, you've gotta check her out.

I would have thought she was from Louisiana or Mississippi, but turns out she's British. Go figure..

Damn, that's some hardcore blues shredding right there! She really can play. And that tone is awesome.
