  • IMHO ProTools

is the most counterintuitive program I have ever used. Was it written for mac ?
I have learned every program on my own without reading a manual.

My earlier question about Protools was answered here (thank you guys again) - not the Protools forums (which I tried first) - I don't think they tolerate any dissent over there.

I'm going to keep plugging away at it, and someday soon I hope, I can start posting some stuff...

Yeah it's not the best, unless you're like me and have a sound engineer as a friend. I think it was written for Mac, and if that's the case I'll find a different program.

      Re: IMHO ProTools

Pro Tools was written 20 years ago and they kept adding on. That's why it's the most kludge-y DAW out there. Rumors are that the next version will be 64 bit, something their competitors have had for a good 5+ years now.

Ye I never got on with it. Cubase has always worked for me.

I have only ever used reaper, and never really read any tutorials or watched any youtube tutorials on how to use a daw

          reaper is very intuitive...
