I recorded a few acoustic songs over the summer. One of these, "Miss Her So", dates back to 2010, but I redid the fretless bass this year. The others were all done since May 2013.
It's interesting to hear the tone differences in the acoustic guitars used. The first track, "Personal Jesus", was played on my girlfriend's Godin 5th Avenue. "Matte Kudesai" and "Inside of This (Outside of That)" were played on my Seagull Artist Series acoustic. It has nice deep bass and a warm woody tone. "Miss Her So" and "Umbrella" were playing on my Adamas, which has a nice zingy tone, but lacks the low end that my Seagull has.
I may someday end up rationalizing buying as many acoustic guitars as I have electrics, just to get varying tones. I'm already GASing for a Seagull Entourage guitar at the shop I teach lessons at.
