The riffing actually reminded me more of Heaven & Hell than Sabbath, if you know what I mean. Killer tune, love it. If you ever want someone to trade 4's, 8's, or whatever with on a solo -- count me in!!

That opening riff is insane ...love the Cozy Powell-ish drums too....nice bluesy soloing...you should build a complete song around that man..

It's never been easier to collaborate online!

All you need to do is send me the backing track w holes in it. Make sure that when you export the track that it is the entire piece, including the preroll or whatever you are using to count in, or my tracks will be out of sync.

I track my parts and send you separate tracks or a comp'd stem. You import the file(s).

          Hey presto! Done!

cool, thanks brutha, I am glad to learn

here is the backing track with holes in it, there is no preroll or count in. It says on soundcloud that you can download from their website and I checked to make sure I authorized downloads

Its prolly as easy as click n drag for your separate parts for me to import into reaper?

Yep. I think you can drag tracks into Reaper. If not, there is a tab at the top that says Import. Select Media File and browse to where you have the downloaded solo. Easy peasy! Can't wait to give this a listen and jam out some ideas!

Thanks! I will be getting a couple of 'key' items from storage as soon as Boreas leaves the area and it dries out a bit! I will continue this through PM as I don't want to clog this thread further.

You have files in your inbox, sir. Did the best I could, hopefully did the tune justice. Was loads of fun to work on!

                        Hi Ben (TwilightOdyssey),

I figured out what to do since I was recording with Rate: 0.9 to get the drums to a slower doomier speed... I just rendered each of my tracks and then mixed

(you can still mix if you want for fun, all my tracks to this song are here for downloading:https://soundcloud.com/earthalliance-area51 )

so I finished the song with your solo, yay SOLO SOUNDS GREAT!!!! great learning experience, thank you

One of these days the forum should get all the doom guys from tips n clips together into a doom/sludge super group collab
                          Edit: love the riffs btw
