Hey guys who use VSTs often for recording and/or live. Ever since I stumbled upon LePou I've leaned heavily on his amplifier vsts and his cabinet. I don't think I have a surviving recording on the internet where I'm not running his stuff. Great great tones from pristine to saturated using Marshall cabinet impulses into LeCab. I've enjoyed my experience with them so much that I just got a very popular paid-for guitar suite--Amplitube (with Fender, Orange, Ampeg, Soldano, and T-Rex addons). I am having no trouble getting great cleans but trying to crank up anything sounds kind of like ass. Generally I go for very low-midrange mega saturated tones for stuff similar to High on Fire so I expected to get along perfectly with the SLO 100 but so far its kind of "yeah thats servicable but not as good as the LePou setup"
I'm somewhat worried I went for the more gimmicky choice over Guitar Rig--which I will be grabbing tomorrow because why not![](https://forum.seymourduncan.com/core/images/smilies/smoker.gif)
Edit: I do have to note that Amplitube's models get me much more believable cleans without having to resort to lots of verb/delay
