Scuffham Amps, Software Guitar Amplification, VST, AudioUnit and AAX plug-ins.

Will be downloading the trial tonight and seeing how it sounds with guide guitar tracks.

Yes - I was on the fence about getting a jmp-1, so I tried the scuffham since the same dude was involved - I was super impressed with the Marshall tones. I only tried the demo but it was one of those I could have seen buying.

Shoot - I had a clip up but cleaned out my Dropbox awhile back - ill see if I can find it again.

The copy protection writes to the boot sector on your hard drive.

      No thanks.

Started using it on guide guitars. Very impressive! Not nearly as boxy sounding as Logic's modeling.

Ha! I've never been anti-modeling. I own a Roland GT8 that I use for silent practice, and I like using models for guide guitars and DI tracks. For guide tracks it allows me to record parts without driving my family crazy, and with DI tracks it helps get the feel right, then I take off the models and reamp the tracks.
