Here are some new tracks 2015, from my band Texas Pride. We are weekend warriors, self produced. We are just having fun, I sure not the greatest you've heard, and not the worst!

Don't sell yourself short, you had the balls to post something, which is more than 99% of the posters here would dare do. They prefer to fire under cover of amonomity.

    Will check this out later.
Why don't you take your little Cobra Kais and get outta here?!

Thanks TO, which is why I posting tracks for review.

I'm 53 years old, have played since I was 15.

Hadn't had a steady band for years.

Decided to get off my ass and get out there, play some shows, and record some original music while I can!!!

I have other friends, that have spent years honing their music, but never finish anything or even have a mixdown that sounds finished.

I spent to many years not gigging ( I was doing sound for other bands).

There are many talented people out there, that never get outside their comfort zone.

Time to get out, Rock Out, and put out some music!!!

Time marches on, don't miss opportunities, have fun!!!

After all that's what's all about!!!

And by the way TO, your tracks are awesome!!! Nice!!!

        More tracks soon......

Well, on a scale of 1 to awesome on the Fun Scale, this scores ridiculously high.
            Were these recorded live?

The lead guitar is REALLY high gain for this style, reminds me of Thin Lizzy quite a bit. Was a Les Paul used? How was it recorded?

Thanks for the kind word re: my feverish, geek-laden compositons.

Thanks TO. My guitar track was recorded "Live", just as if I were playing a gig. Rhythm to lead and back.

Yeah, I'm kinda a high gain fiend!!! Probably a little over the top for some of this material.

It's my modded Ibanez, PG in the neck, Invader in the bridge position.

A 57 close to the amp, and a condenser about 12' back in the room.

Blues JR w/ a Triple Wreck for overdrive.
