  • A brief riff in 5/4

Came up with this idea last night; it's actually the end to a longer piece, but this is the new section in isolation.

Thanks! Always a challenge to write interesting melodies in less-common time sigs.

            Nice!

I like it. Has a bit progressive sound to it, without being over the top and all... Very cool!

I'd take the keys a bit to the background... and beefen up the guitar. But it's all tastes... Just something I thought that could help.

Are you aware of TDR's Slick Eq? It is free as far as I know, and is a great eq. A prespecified "bank" is called "Mojo" which sorta beefens up the guitar sound without changing much of its character.

              Thanks, dr B!

These are not the final guitar tracks; just amp sims for the songwriting sessions.

Very cool. 5/4 is so fun to play in. Very cool riff, and love the tone. How's the album going. I like the 2 very long sides.

Nice. Sounds Celtic in a way.
