  • New Stephen Ross CD Jabberwhacky

Hello everyone. This is Stephen Ross. You may remember my Shrapnel release Midnight Drive which came out in the nineties or maybe you have my book Arpeggios for the Modern Guitarist, published by Hal Leonard. I just finished up a new CD. It has thirteen tracks of progressive, melodic instrumental rock supported by virtuoso drummer, Joe Nevolo (Frank Marino, Shadow Gallery, Pat Travers, and more), Black Label Society bassist John DeServio (also toured with Vinnie Moore) and a special guest bass solo by Bunny Brunel (Chick Corea, Cab). If you like Richie Kotzen, Steve Vai, Satriani and Dream Theater, I think you will love the new CD. Here is a preview of track four Algorhythms - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doU5p9_ycy4. You can order the CD directly from the Stephen Ross Store at http://www.stephenross.com
    Thanks for reading.

Checked out "Algorhythms" and it's flippin' fantastic!

Nice fat chunky tone on the rhythms you got there, too.

Pretty cool. I liked the break into jazz -- very unexpected in a good way! The playing reminded me a little bit of Paul Gilbert.
