  • End theme to an imaginary prog song

All this talk of synths had me wanting to play round with my Aturia Modular V. Came up with this end-sounding theme to a song I never wrote.

4 tracks of Modular V; 1 track of EastWest ProDrummer.

I imagined a final scene in a gritty reboot of Power Rangers where EVERYBODY DIES and has a lot of slow, emotional pans up the faces of the bereaved.

Go go Power Range-oh... That's both depressing and depressing.

I've never seen someone so complicit and enthusiastic about derailing their own thread.

Re: End theme to an imaginary prog song

Made me think of "Trick of the Tail" and "wind and Wuthering" era Genesis (which I love, btw).

Very nice. Now put a Gilmourish solo overtop!

Thanks! This was just a thought experiment.
There will be more coming up, I am sure: I am taking a course on synthesis sound design right now in hopes that it help me decide my next synth purchase ...
