I've never really gotten in to 50s rock, I thought I knew what it was about but I never found it very interesting. Tonight I started listening to Eddie Cochran, holy crap he was amazing for the era. I had no idea. I'm familiar with Perkins, Presley, Link Wray, and Orbison but now I'm wondering what else I missed out on.

I dare anyone on this forum who thinks 50's rock (and the like) is "too easy for guitar" to give that solo a try.
