  • Queensryche/Ozzy/Angra style riff

Here's a rough demo of a new song I'm working on, inspired by Rage For Order era Queensryche, Bark At The Moon, and Angra (when it modulates to Eb Lydian). This grew out of my desire to have something a bit more 'power metallish'. It's in the key of Gm.

    http://www.soundclick.com/bands/0/tw...ysseymusic.htm It's called Gm RIFF.

Hehe, I can't really say much - thats total TO, man. And it rocks.
When a guitarist is instantly recognized, that is a sign of character.

      Thanx, Bee!
Hopefully, PJ will like it and it become an actual song over the next couple of months.

This is a very rough sketch, and is basically every riff played through once. I've been working on the tune for about a month, and was finally able to weed through all the variations until I had a set of riffs I really liked. As it develops, I'm sure it will change and grow.

                  Checked my PMs and responded.
