Lesson learned - always trust your sound guy...

At one venue I used to play, I always hooked up with a DI box in my effects loop... when I moved to another venue, I offered the same solution, but the sound guy wanted to mic the amp. The thing is, the sound guy should know his house and his equipment - he knows what will sound best - trust him.

will do...might have to wait awhile though..we're playing a party at my band mate's neighbor's house in a couple weeks...which will be our drummer's last gig..he's leaving to join his brother's original gig =( so we're hunting for another drummer....

yep..to find a good, solid drummer, that doesn't drop the time AND isn't a d*ck is a very hard thing indeed..and we had all that in spades....our soon to be ex drummer is a stinking animal..a human metronome....and now he's gone with the wind...sigh
