  • Confusion in pickups, too high or low

Does anyone have clips where pickups are setup too high or low? When I increase the height I don't really hear much of a difference except in a little bit in the output. Even increasing the pickup height really high I haven't noticed the overtones on the high frets that people mention when pickups are setup too high. I think I kinda have a grasp on know when the tones too thin, but on overtones I have no clue what it would sound like .

If anyone could help me with understanding these concepts I would appreciate it?
