  • Chinese / Japanese Scales

anyone got any chinese/japanese sounding scales (or ones that actually originated from japan or china)?

i was on a lesson site once and there was a lesson called "the chinese scale", and it was just the major pentatonic

so i don't mean that mode of the pentatonic, but if you do have a scale like I'm after that does happen to be a pentatonic that isn't major or minor pentatonic, can you share it?

    cheers
