Ok, here we go!
I've always been really crap at the twelve bar blues, especially on slower tracks! So, in attempt to remedy this I've been jamming along with a blues backing CD I got from a guitar magazine a while back.
For the most part I tried to keep it bluesy, but there are some faster licks dotted around nearer the end as I couldn't resist
The camera clipped as I was playing the backing too loud, so sorry about that... It also limits videos to three minutes but that's probably a good thing as I tend to run out of blues juice before the end of the backing track, or go off on a wannabe shred tangent (most of the music I listen to is metal).
- Am I on the right track to recording a good blues solo? Any pointers?
I tried to start off with space between licks etc and eventually build things up, but I'm not sure if I got the balance right?
