What's the deal with this tuning? Whats the theory behind it? What are the traditional "tricks" for using it? Where can I find more info on it?

When you barre (or play all the open strings) it's an ambiguous 9 chord without a major or minor third. Opens up some cool chord shapes to mess around with.Join me in the fight against muscular atrophy!

Looking further, theory wise it's very easy to make cool decisions with this tuning. Is there any advantage to it over FACGCE? Which is the same thing but tuned closer to standardYou will never understand How it feels to live your life With no meaning or control And with nowhere left to go You are amazed that they exist And they burn so bright
