Feedback on the recording is why I'm posting this here.
This song was written by a Newfoundlander named Al Pittman about his coastal fishing community which was resettled further inland.

The original recording is acapella. A friend of mine who lives on the rock asked me to cover it to give it an arrangement behind the lyrics. I ended up changing the vocal melody a bit too.
