Hello guys, bout time for posting another clip of mine. Made it last week during spring break (actually had some free time!!!).
EQ: bass 2, mid 4.5, treble 2, pres 0
Had the gain fairly low with the SD1 level maxed. Mic'ed my Splawn cab (V12s) with the semi-crap comp mic i have, and smiley face EQd in Cubase (mic adds a ton of mids). I also had the volume on 3, with the attenuator clamping down pretty hard. Still sounded great to my ears compared to what ive recorded in the past. Really brings out how dark Laneys are, even though they sound very bright in person.
