  • 7 string Accident.

I was just messing around with my 7 string, testing a new patch on the PODxt, at low volume. It sounded normal when I was playing it.

But when I recorded it, this came out.

I'm not sure why this happened.
It sounds a bit muddy, not very nice tone, but sits HUGE in the mix.
Can anyone tell me why?--so I can do it again, with better tone on a better song.

    Thanks for listening

Which clip are you refering to? I´m listening now to "Uranium" which sounds good imho.

Sorry, I deleted the song I was referring to.
Uranium was recorded with the same tone, but did not sound as big, or muddy.
I deleted it because it sucked.
I think I was distorting the I/O ports on garageband.
I don't think that there's any way to get anything but muddy crap tone.
      Really big muddy crap.
      Thanks
