FullShred 8 soundclips!!

Charvel model 4, wired as a normal humbucker, through a POD 2.0 on the insane channel, gain all the way up () but EQ set to neutral no effects or anything.
The POD goes into a Fast Track USB which in turns is recorded via Audacity. And that's it. Nothing done after the recordings.
It's all VERY random, apart from some riffs from songs I knew, but most of it (even Toxicity) is improvised. I rarely learn songs properly. I badly messed up Sixpounder as well Anyway I hope this helps you figure out the sound. I'll do something with less gain sometimes soon as well of course.

That Insane channel with the gain all the way up is so damn fuzzy...perhaps once you turn it down it'll be a bit better. Otherwise yes, random, but nice playing in some of those parts. I think I get a bit of the idea of the FullShred 8.

I haven't listened to it after I recorded... I'd have had no way of changing it anyway I'll try something mellower, like 80s metal but I don't know many riffs... let me plug in again.

I did another one with less gain.
It's the JCM800 model, gain full again, but boosted by the Bad Monkey (set for clean boost, neutral EQ). I can't remember which EQ I used for the 800 since it's in the bank of my POD.
The jangly clean is a Bassman model, and the more round tone after is the Blackface Deluxe Reverb. The Bassman is not boosted at first.

Waitwaitwait... I wasn't playing songs. Just random riffs I know and improv. This is one track of noodling.
I'd do whole songs but I couldn't find the backing tracks I wanted.

Yep I got a couple of of there, but no songs I know in full. I have to do some work This site doesn't have any Queensryche or Millencolin BTs.

Holy crap... turn the gain WAY down. I can't even tell if I really like the pickup Usually a solid guitar tone won't even sound good until it's been doubletracked tightly and processed a bit. Your playing needs work too but that'll come with just recording yourself and hearing your own mistakes (at least it did wonders for me). Try recording to a click as well- it'll improve your rhythm and make doubletracking a lot simpler.
