    i believe that it's some kind of technique involved in there.
    something more than artificial harmonics?

    its low gain pinch harmonic!Easy as pie!The first 3 strings are allways "happy" with pinches like that.Just touch the string ,but do not "hit" really.you will get it!

        I have a feather very delicate taped to the bridge of my guitar (well, not on the bridge, but close. It is just barely not touching the strings. Then, whenever I need a harmonic, I just blow on the feather. It touches the strings just enough for the harmonic. Pretty insano.
