  • Jimi Hendrix Stone Free Solo

    Listen VERY carefully to 2:37-2:40
Is that one or two guitars because those 3 seconds are the best guitar notes i've ever heard, that sounds like one guitar doing open e string fast and then some backwards guitar on the two little slides (BTW if you listen to that over and over or loop it right it sounds like techno) LISTEN VERY CAREFULLY

ah, sounds like hes just strummin the string, then hits a fret twice and does two quick muted string slides after that... it sounds technical to explain it but i don think it would be too hard to pull off

If you can gete hold of this CD:

I strongly recommend to get a copy. It is the most amazing collection of Hendrix live performances. It also remixed well.

The version of Stone Free is one of the best improvisational guitar work I have ever heard.
