  • Help WITH FULL DISTORTION w/ cyber jamming

WFD wants to add a guitar solo to my song "March of the Eternal Geeks". I think he needs some computer recording software, or something of the sort to add his track to my MP3. I don't know squat about this kind of thing, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Maybe some of you who have done a lot of cyber jamming could help.

i guess he could just save your song to his comp, then put it to some recording software and add it there. then put it somewhere you cansave it with the solo.
    or something like that.

I might be able to give it a try. If you have MP3's, I'm supposed to be able to import those into my Cakewalk, and put them on a couple of separate tracks, export the whole shebang back into an mp3 file.

No guarantees, but I could give it a crack.

WFD, are you sure you don't have "Sound Recorder"? For me it's under Programs, Accesories, Entertainment, Sound Recorder.

If you don't have the software to listen and record at the same time, then how about burning the back track on to an audio CD. Play the audio CD in another player, and record your guitar in to your computer.
