  • How to Tune to Eflat Tuning?...

    Can anyone explain? Theres a song I'm gonna learn to play but I need that tuning.

      Do you have an electronic tuner? If you do, most of them have a setting to change it to tune a 1/2 step down, or a whole step.

      If you don't, you can kind of wing it. If your tuned to E (440) play an F# on your low E string (4th fret) and tune your A string to that note. No go back and lower the pitch one your low E string until fretting it at the 5th is in tune with the A string. Now just tune the G and all the other strings to each other.

      It is by no means completely accurate, but will at least get you in the ballpark if you don't have a tuner to read Eb.

        G# on the low E string, Jeff.. not F#. 4th fret.. etc..
