Also got something the other day that you may appreciate. 2007 Ibanez VBT700 lawsuit axe. It's a little rough around the rear of the points (of course) and has a couple of dings and scrapes but has 95% of the frets left and plays great. The original owner replaced the tuners with Sperzel locking but it is other wise stock. Love this thing. First V after playing 40 years lol. Mid life crisis much?

Hi there. I saw that you are a fan of the neural DSP plugins and I'm hoping you can give me some guidance. I am brand new to plugins, DAW's, VST's etc. I recently got a Scarlett Focusrite Solo and a pair of KRK Rokit 5 monitors and have downloaded the trial version of the Nolly suite. I was able to get everything setup and functioning (ilok etc.) with the help of a friend. I am now struggling to achieve some of the tones I have been hearing in the demos and have not had a lot of success lol. I did get my latency issues squared away but I'm still having a hard time dialing in the higher gain settings. I am getting a fat, loose bottom that sounds like it has a fuzz pedal on top. Yes..horrible. Do you have any suggestions that might save an old (52) metal head endless frustration? I like a more modern higher gain sound with tight bottom end and plenty of cut and clarity without the Ride the Lightning metallic "clank" definition, if that makes sense? Just looking for some pointers. I didn't want to start a post on this because that seems to end up useless with this subject. I am hoping I can get some tips from guys that are actually using it. Thanks for any pointers you may have.

Dude how well does the sh-6 sound through the vypyr? And which version of the vypyr do you have? I was planning on getting one for my agathis bodied yamaha pacifica 012... I play everything from classic hard rock to metal core and lamb of god stuff.. So which pickup would be best for me! Sh-5 or the sh-6? Help! And how good are the cleans on the sh-6 and the sh-5?
