  • Hi Orpheo, I seem to have the parts you are missing for your Kahler. Look at the Kahler thread.
Hi Orpheo, i bought the Nordstrand single coils from you. I am interested in the double screw set. Does it differ from the double slug set soundwise?

Hi, I might be interested in your strat body. How much do you want for it and what would shipping be to the US, specifically Mundelein, IL zip code 60060? I don't always come to this forum here every day, so I may take a day or 2 to get back, but I'll try to remember to check for a message.

    Thanks
I tried to include a link to it, but it was too long to satisfy the character limit. Sorry!
I'd LOVE to see the missing pix from: Three pickup Les Paul using Seth Lover pickups

Hi Orpheo, couple questions for you . . . what kind of frets have you got on that Dutchwood Sunburst Les Paul, about how much does it weigh, and is it 50s or modern wiring? Thanks,

Noticed your maple top single cut with the hybrid PG/Seth pickup. I'm always looking for cool custom shop ideas and was wondering what this pickup sounds like. Is it as bright as a PG? What would you compare the output level to?

    Hi,

the PG/Seth alnico2 is actually a very warm sounding pickup. It is clear and responds superbly to picking technique and picking dynamics. The PG Neck isn't that bright in my opinion; but this hybrid is best of both worlds. It is howling and round but very articulate for fast picking. In fact, I used that guitar for literally everything. From Black Label Society to Allman brothers.

In terms of output, it's not super hot. I mean, it's something like 8K with 42awg wire and an alnico 3 magnet, (originally, alnico 2) so it is low output but it has a bold, big 'voice', if that makes sense. It's not as skinny sounding as the jazzN or the Sentient.

    Hope this helps!
hey, sorry i missed your question in the p-rails thread. it's all guesswork so far... i just work off the little pieces of information frank and evan let slip, and check it against the info on the main duncan site.
