I just unwind them and pull them out. I think cutting them is too much shock. I have cut them before (after unwinding them) on guitars I want to make sure I don't scratch the finish on, but that's pretty rare.

I've never noticed really any tonal differences between any of the TOMs I've ever used. They may feel different.

Gibsons only real problem these days is all the online haters. I sed wut I sed.

Pearly Gates does a pretty sweet bit of metal, and that's the only lower gain pup I ever kind of liked for Metal The ENGL will surely make up for all the gAinZ.

I've only heard good things about the HB cabinet. I own a Seismic Audio and it was cheap and it sounds just fine.
