Your post in the improv thread almost made me spew my soup all over my monitor LOL. Apparently you haven't listened to Phanta's clips, that's what brings up these "discussions", he swears that he doesn't need to know anything about music theory (may have started before your time) and that his is God's gift to guitar, then posts all these clips where all he is doing is sloppily hitting random notes and claims they are awesome.

nah man, i've been too busy to get the old finish off the strat so...it's still basically useless. wish i could help man, other than to say I really dig the EMG-81 in my friend's LTD Hybrid, except for the lack of bass and emphasis on treble...which is apparently what Blackouts fix, if i remember right...
