  • yeah i want a semi-decent one of my own, my bro and sis both have one each so i'd just been playing theirs heh heh
i'm going down later this week to try a $300 cedar/bubinga one and a $600 spruce/rosewood one and see what i think. i'm expecting the bubinga to be pressed laminate but both tops and the rosewood body are solid, apparently. bone nuts, bridges and pins too
    you seen these?
the address says st peters, thinking about checking them out one arvo last week of august
the v-twin can't make it, she says she has a headache next week
I actually had a Blue Boy doing the same job when we got the MXRs. I sold it because I could get more for it but I should have thought reliability factor and kept it.
Thats actually pretty amazing. I can see them posted for sale quite often. Makes me wonder if I could make a little $ there. Mine is actually going back to Dunlop because it started to make a funny white noise. I really like it and now wouldnt go without it or a good substitute. You've made me really want to check out those Fulltones you have. I love my setup of my Blues Pro, Boost n Buff and MXR OD but the MXR stuff always fails on me and I doubt that would happen with Fulltone, etc. My MI Audios have never had any issues and I've been using them for years.
tried a mesa v-twin? i could lend you mine so you can try one out, i think it could be what you're looking for.
