  • Cool, I really like the guitar sound... how the hell do you get that sound? What tuning do you use? Guitar and amp? Not my style at all (old boring classix rock I'm afraid) but I loved the guitar sound! Thanks for the heads up.
Looks like you found it in tips and clips
    Thanks for listening
I'll give you the heads up when we get some more stuff finished

The band have at long last managed to get some tunes down in the studio.

Not exactly as huge and dynamic as I had hoped, but for limited studio time and money, at least we now have some tuneage to help get more gigs in the right venues.

These are the 4 ballads from our set -.... tunes yet to be mixed are much heavier and faster paced.
If you are into APC, Tool etc., give us a listen and tell me what you think.
    Cheers

Hey Don, just got your message, I've been out of town. I'm not a 'compressor in the guitar chain' guy, but I would expect that the logical place to put your comp would be after the fuzz, only because the ins and outs of fuzzes can be finicky, unless of course you were planning to compress the signal before the fuzz for more sustain. Generally a fuzz has plenty of that anyway! That's where I would try it first, as close to the front of the chain as possible, which may be after the fuzz. If there doesn't seem to be any negative effect putting it before the fuzz, I would be tempted to try it first in line, because a compressed signal into the wah could be funky. As always, trying out all options provides the answers. Hope all is well in your world. Regards. ~G~
Mine has that kinda flame. It's a premium plus model from 03. In certain angles it's outrageous! In others it looks like it just has a few flmaes.
It's a '96 Page model that has had all the crap electronics replaced with an RSGuitarworks vintage kit, Bro/ Seth and nickle replacing the gold... so now more like a '59 R.I I guess. It is very deceiving, in one light it will look quite plain, in another it looks really flamey. Yours looks like a killer flame, reminds me of the Gary Moore one?
all those side bars covered up the black one, i didn't even see it, but I was talkin' about that awesome burst! What year and model is it?
Hey Jolly my man.... you tried calling me this morning and I only got a message about lunchtime!! Sorry bro, hope all is well and speak soon. Take care... wish we could go with GJ to give him some moral support? Oh, and get pissed too!! Lol
