Got it! Thanks. I thought, with the "A" side #1 position connected to the humbucker, there would be "A" Common interference. But, with no wiring from "A" 1, I guess there's no signal going anywhere. It does sound fine. I appreciate the knowledge increase!

I'm trying to understand the operation of the switch positions. I have little electrical knowledge. In position #1, selecting the bridge humbucker, on the "A" side contact 1 and Common (C, at the bottom) are selected. On the "B" side it's 1 and Common (at the top). I understand the "B" side...

I appreciate the feed back. Thank you. The singles are oem '73 Fender. What i really need is a wiring diagram to get the singles to Tone 1 and the bucker to Tone 2, wire the combo Vol, and with the tricky (in my mind) routing of the 5-way switch. Thanks again.

Changing SSS to HSS. Searched tons of diagrams - no luck. I'm using Vol pot 250k/500k combo, Tone 1 250k for neck and middle single coils, Tone 2 500k for bridge 78 humbucker, 5 way blade switch, no coil splitting. Position 2 issues not minded. I would appreciate a diagram to help me wire this.
