I'm using Loopy HD (simpler version of Loopy Pro) on my iPhone, connected with my usb-c audio interface (Axe IO One). So if you already have a usb-c interface, Loopy HD is like $5. If you don't have a usb interface, Hotone Jogg seems a nice way to integrate with your rig.

OP was looking for an AB box. I don't know how you can ABY cabs without affecting the ohms the amp sees. I'd like to know how an external box can work for that. Ex: cab A=8ohms and cab B=8ohms. A or B = 8ohms, but A+B will be either 4ohms or 16ohms.

I don't think a magnet is doing any compression. Maybe the rest of the chain is compressing because it's reacting to the dynamic range.

I love mine (60/S/S). Different but nice. I also have a set of EMG Retro Active Hot 70 in an Ibanez SZ520 that I really like. Maybe because of the preamp/buffer, but with some modellers I'm getting better results using EMG pickups.

You are running the PA and they don't leave you space on stage? If it was me they would sound terrible (or be muted) on the PA!!!

STK-S7 in the bridge is very good for that job. It can handle clean and distortion no problem. Dedicated tone control to make it fatter or brighter depending on the application.
